Mail Art IN - UK, E. Coles

Baked beans!
This piece of Mail Art must be from the United Kingdom.
E. Coles sends a handmade envelop with goodies and homework.
The tissue square is an add & pass bookie from Colin Scholl.
Ooof, quiet a challenge to make something for such delicate pages.

I might use the pattern papers E. sent me.
The miniature collage is by E. Coles and made of several
natural looking papers.

Thank you E. Coles.

Mail Art IN - France, Artist in Seine

Plastic bag with yellow writing in the mail box.
First I thought it was some marketing packet with special offer magazines.
Didn't pay much attention to it.

But hey! When the box came out of the plastic bag,
I recognized
Dean Mark's - the Artist in Seine, France -
numbered stamp that announces Mail Art.
What are those wibbly things sticking out of the box?

It's the coolest, cutest, fantastic, fabulous, magnificent, stunning christmas card ever!
Only need to make the little fellows a bit comfortable, having their legs all cramped up.
So here's the happy bunch on my front door.
(I like to think they are doing a christmas disco dance,
not being threatened by some creature with a gun.)

Thank you Dean, for saving them from the bin!

Mail Art IN - Greece, Momkat

This is NOT blue Mail Art from Momkat, Greece.
But blue and red are related. Like the cold and hot tap in the kitchen and bathroom.
Christmassy mail art. Nice!

Thank you, Momkat

Mail Art IN - Turkey, Misra

Junior Mail Artist Misra made this hand marbled envelop.
In Turkish this technique is called 'ebnu', as Misra writes in a lovely personal note.

The treasure hunt map with burned edges is also by Misra.
I think there are sharks in the sea and nomads living in cosy villages.
Looks stunning.

Thank you, Misra

Mail Art IN - USA, David Stafford

Woohoo! My pattern is used by David Stafford, USA, to design vintage winter coats.
David can do magic with the computer.
Love the models from the fifties.

What an honour to see my Mail Art being re-used.
This is going in my portfolio for when I travel the world with my stuff.
Oooooh, if only...

Thank you, David

Mail Art IN - United Kingdom, StripyGoose

From the famous 365 birdy series: 318/365 Cockerel/bluebird feels just fine.
Hope this one will survive Christmas as in 'a cockerel is not a turkey'.

Thank you StripyGoose

Mail Art IN - United Kingdom, MailArt Martha

It was MailArt Martha's pleasure to send me a stuffed envelop from the United Queendom of Retaillia and The Front Door Gallery.
What a glorious honour.
I remember watching a video featuring Martha and her shopping gallery troly
but alas... can't find it now.

The bookie made from a piece of A4 paper is cool.
A bookie with funny content. The illustrations and words speak for themselves, me thinks.

Thank you, Martha

PS: found the video

From New York, USA! Abstract postcard from Alex Norelli.

Congratulations from contented tortoise and StripyGoose!
Because I finished my (first...??!) #365 Mail Art.
Cheers ladies and cheers Queen Elizabeth :)

StripyGoose did a 365-series of birds and birdies.
So this colourful tortoise is a collectors item.
But I am not going to flog it.

Thank you, StripyGoose

Mail Art IN - France, Artist in Seine

Orange without envelop arrived in Amsterdam.
It's the 883rd piece of the Mail Artist in Seine, Paris, France.
' Too daze in Orange', it reads.
Dated the second of September which might give an idea about how far behind I am with blogging.

The other side of the 'naked' orange shows a collage with 3D effect.
Thank you, Dean.

Lots of dots on 12 x 12 cm.
Fellow Mail Artist Marni Webber also makes mandala's!
Vibrant effect with these bright colours. Wonder about her technique.

Thank you Marni

Thank you, Anne.

MailArt IN - Greece, Momkat

Blue piece of MailArt by Momkat, Greece.
The sacrifices people make for MailArt.
Momkat has eaten a 'chocolate' Queen Beatrix-coin of rather dubious quality.

Angie and her doggy Snooky sent this 'ton sur ton' collage.
It's a collection of papers and paint.

Mail Art IN - Germany, Willemien Visser

Beatrix, former queen of The Netherlands, totally k.o. on her royal bed? Royal sofa?
Beatrix the pensioner is surrounded by other royals.
I spot Willy, Maxima, the Spanish princess and the Japanese... is she an emporess?
No idea who the dressed up lot is on the left.

Good to see Beatrix wears a pyama with stamp print of her mother, Juliana.
And she likes a cup of tea, so to see.

This funny collage was sent by Willemien Visser, Germany.

Mail Art IN - United Kingdom, Stripy Goose & Artist in Seine & MailArt Martha

A joint MailArt piece by Stripy Goose, Artist in Seine and MailArt Martha.
The stamp with the five figures with green heads (?) did already look familiar. That's from Martha.

So these three MailArtists had a meeting in... London?
Lucky, lucky so and so's!
And lucky me to get this piece.
