Mail Art IN - France, Artist in Seine

"So is Fashion really art?'
Philosophical question by Artist in Seine.
And a very logical answer as well.

Well, as I do not always understand 'fashion', that might be an argument for fashion being art.

But what is Fashion? Is it designed by a person who had a special education designing?
Or is it what people wear because it is 'in fashion'?

Especially when it is very hot, you should see some people walking around in the city in summer! Does it really have to be that tasteless when the temperature rises?
That doesn't look very fashionable to me.

Two sides of collage Mail Art give me a lot to think about.

Mail Art IN - USA, TofuArt

Invitation from TofuArt, USA, for an exhibit in two parts.
In San Francisco. If only I could go...

'Tofu's landscapes and collages come together
when paintings on paper are cut into small pieces and reassembled
in a new series'.
Very courageous to cut up your own paintings, me thinks.

Mail Art IN - United Kingdom, StripyGoose

StripyGoose goes doodle!
This piece is called 'Sheepish' and has a parrot with red feather as encore on the other side.
With stamp 'Queen-combi-97p' as an encore in the corner.

StripyGoose is doing her second Mail Art 365!
Soon I will finish my first Mail Art 365... after two-and-a-half-year, that is.

Mail Art IN - USA, Charles Mansfield

Calligraphy by Charles Mansfield, USA.
The stamp on the back refers to Charles' music website.
'Promises' is already his fifth album. I listenend to an online track and it sounds cool.

On the website is also mentioned that Charles is playing clubs in New York.
Just imagine... A well known musician from New York sends me Mail Art!
Mail Art is great ;)

Ps: Does anyone know Charles' Mail Artist Alias?

Mail Art IN - France, Artist in Seine & Valentine Mark Herman

This collage from the Artist in Seine, France, is a collage of... interesting things and statements. Absolutelely.
Expect more of sitting comforbably? Expect more of a sexy relaxy chair?
Uh... looks quiet uncomfy to me.
Expect more of a cruise in a hot air balloon? Maybe there is no story connecting the scraps of photographs but it had my mind triggered ;)

Ps: just found out it was a joined piece of Mail Art by Artist in Seine & Valentine Mark Herman

Mail Art IN - Germany, Erni Bär

Erni makes collages galore.
He sticks and sticks... with UHU-glue, of course.
Erni even turns lemon beer into UHU-beer.
I might have dreamed it, but is it true that Erni gets free glue from UHU?
